Christobal Balenciaga
Sometimes a dress or a hat can be more like a piece of art than a piece of clothing, and when I see these pictures I imagine that the designer looks at the human body like an empty canvas rather than a naked body that needs to be dressed.

Snow
Outside it's snowing and even though it doesn't stay yet, the winter's definitely here now. I actually like the winter just as much as any other season. Ice skating on the lake and skiing in the forest are just some of the things I love doing, as well as drinking lots of tea, wearing warm jumpers, scarves and wool socks, lighting candles, meeting up with friend and baking ginger bread. But before it gets any colder I hope to find a new winter coat (The one I wore last year is not warm enough for the Norwegian winters). Happy winter everyone!

Street style
I just have to share these pictures of a girl called Madeleine with you! I get the feeling that each piece is special to her, and she puts them together in such a way that the hat doesn't take the focus away from the bag, or the jumper doesn't take the focus away from the shoes, but you notice how lovely the whole outfit looks, and how lovely the girl looks!

Today's find: erotic glasses
I went to a flee market and when I spotted these glasses I fell in love. When I looked at the inside I loved them even more!

Apron
The aprons from Carolyn's Kitchen are adorable, don't you think? If you'd like to wear this blue one when baking you really should go to Madeleine's Wunderkammer and enter her giveaway before the 3rd of November! Good luck!

Besame
Oh, how I'd love to own a Besame lipstick! The look of it is inspired by original 1940's lipstick tubes, and just look at the pretty details!

Illustrations
I used to be drawing clothes all the time when I was about 12 and wanted to be a fashion designer, but never managed to draw like this. Fashion illustrations really amaze me because even simple drawings can give you an impression of what fabrics the clothes are made of and how they look when the wearer is moving.
